Shipping Policy


Shipping wine is a delicate process, we prioritize protecting the quality of our wines throughout that process, here are a few important things to note:


  • Contact Method and Customer Information
    • The email listed in the recipient information will receive a tracking number when the label is printed.  Automated emails are generated when shipping labels print; however, this does not mean your wine is in transit yet.
  • Gifting Wine
    • The phone number and email you put in the order is the phone number and email that will receive delivery and shipping information.  It is best practice to provide the recipient’s email and phone number. Even if you would like to surprise someone with a gift, they will need to be home and sign for your gift of wine so it is best they know ahead of time.
  • Delivery Attempts and Carrier
    • The carrier and service speed may vary by time of year.
      • We do not ship when temperatures are below freezing or above 75 degrees along the route. During hotter months, typically May through September, we apply a cold chain handling surcharge to all shipping orders.
    • Standard ground shipping takes between 2-10 days depending on final destination.  We only ship on Monday unless special arrangements are made by calling the winery. Orders are processed to meet our Monday shipping deadline.
    • The Carrier will not forward shipments of alcohol to another address once the package leaves Fielding Hills Winery.
    • Unforeseen Carrier related delays may occur. Three delivery attempts will be made by our shipping partners. After the first attempt, recipients are responsible to coordinate and schedule redelivery or pickup directly with the shipping company.
    • The only guaranteed arrival of wine is with expeditated shipping.  Regular ground shipping has no guaranteed arrival date. Even still, weather or unexpended delays may occur.
  • Reshipping or Changes in Shipping Address
    • Fielding Hills is not responsible for shipping charges incurred to redirect or re-ship packages. Customer will be billed in the case of redirected or reshipped items.
    • If an incorrect or invalid shipping address is entered at the time of purchase, Fielding Hills is not responsible for fees incurred to correct address.
    • In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, we are not responsible to refund the item or shipping charges. Purchaser must contact Fielding Hills within 30 days of the return, otherwise the order is subject to cancellation with no return or exchange.
  • Legal Age Requirement
    • Someone must sign for the package that is over 21 years of age. Delivery drivers may require identification that they can scan.
    • If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. We encourage you to use a delivery address where you the buyer or the legal age recipient will be present during normal business / delivery hours. No shipment will be left unless verified and signed for. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to the logistics center it originally shipped from. An additional fee will apply to reship undeliverable packages. recognizes and complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding sale of alcohol to minors. All shipments require an adult signature; proof of age will be verified by delivery carrier. No deliveries will be made to a visibly intoxicated person.
    • By virtue of your order with you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and the person to whom any wine will be delivered is also 21 years old. At the time of delivery, any shipment containing an alcohol beverage product will require the signature of an adult possessing valid picture identification issued by a government agency proving legal age.


We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
